It has been said that timing is everything. True! Many mornings I am crossing 200 to get to JOY at 6 am or earlier. It is easy. Usually I do not have to wait for anyone. I guess most people are not on the roads yet. This morning, I was closer to 6:30 am and I waited for dozens of cars to go by before I could cross. Timing is important. God knows this and his timing is right. Think about how long the people of Israel waited for the Messiah. They had all the information they needed but the time was not right until God said it was right. When the world was deep in sin, Jesus came to free us from that sin. Christmas is about God’s timing. Perhaps now we can see our need for a savior and can see that Jesus is sent for us. During Advent we wait for the coming of Jesus. When does He come? God decides. Read Luke 1:26-38 and remember: God loves YOU unconditionally.
