In poker, when you are all in, you are either going to win big or lose and be done playing.  For many it is a term of futility… they just want to get really lucky but know that they will not win.  They are going to leave.. It is usually an act of desperation.  God, on the other hand, has been “all in” from the beginning.  God wants creation to see the power, the joy, the peace, the love that comes with following God’s Word.  God wants us to see the forgiveness that is given.  God wants us to know that the Holy Spirit is always at work in and through us for that special purpose of sharing that love and peace and joy.  It began at creation.  We were given a large sign at Christmas.  God is with us!  Emmanuel!  May this Christmas season bring you gifts bend compare and especially the realization of how much God loves you… God is All In… with Jesus.  Read  John 3:16-17 and remember: God loves YOU unconditionally.
