Yesterday was a day filled with giving.  The generosity of the congregation allowed  giving 13 different people a little help this Christmas.  It was a busy morning as people called about help and came to pick it up.  We do have people calling all year for help but at Christmas the calls multiply so, too, does the giving of the congregation so that many more can be helped at Christmas.  God gave us a wondrous gift in the Christ Child, the magi gave gifts to this tiny little king, and we carry on the tradition by giving to loved ones and even to strangers in need.  Thank all who have given of their own resources so that others might have something special for Christmas.  I thank God for our special Christmas gift of Jesus and you, JOY givers for your special gifts for others.  God bless you in your giving.  May it be a regular part of your life for God gives good gifts every day.  We need to share with those in need every day.  Read John 3:1-18 and remember: God loves YOU unconditionally.
