I have thought often about the weather.  Maybe you have too!  So many of us are in Florida because the weather is so nice.  So it has been interesting to hear so many complaints about how hot it has been lately.  Warm and humid… more like summer.  Well, now comes winter.  Colder and wet and those of us who have acclimated to being warm will complain about the cold.  When I start to complain about how cold it is here, I just look at Minnesota’s weather and, once again, I am reminded of how grateful I am to be in Sunny Florida.  Today will be colder and rainy and, while I might not like it as well as the fall and spring… and summer, it still is a far sight better than 0 degrees and 2 feet of snow to slog through.  If it were not for the cold times, we might not enjoy the hot as much!  Life gives us ups and downs too.  I wonder,  would we be so thankful to God for the good in our lives if there were no bad?  And, sometimes, with the bad comes a need to call on God that we might not feel during the good times.  So, I thank God at all times for the good and the bad and for staying by my side through it all.  God is, after all, the Lord of the Winter too!  Read Psalm 27 and remember: God loves YOU unconditionally.
