I hear it in a store a week ago and again yesterday.  I have heard it often in my life and wonder where people get their daily inspiration.  I then remember that I have been the on ego say similar things about my own life and then I get it.  What did I hear?  Negative words about everything from the price of bread to the price of houses (high and low) to the weather to the state of international politics.  It just seems that some people cannot find a good point to focus on to see the good in the world.  Some of you may have seem or been sent a group of picture about the funny things, the things that bring joy to one’s life if you simply look around you.  The pictures are of babies with cute and funny quotes tot heir actions.  If you see them, they bring tears of laughter and joy to your eyes and a little pick up for your soul.  There are many bad things about the world.  There are many bad things on the internet!  But… look for the good for God has given us many good things and life itself.  Breath in and remember it is God who gave the breath.  Breath out and remember it is God who command us share our breath, our life.  Look around and see as God did in creation that it is very good.  Seeing the good helps us to combat the bad and the ugly in the world.  Pray for God’s guidance for you that in the midst of life with all its ups and downs you will have the anchor of God’s grace and love and peace and joy by looking for the good no matter how small it may be.  Read Genesis 1:31 and Psalm 34 and remember: God loves YOU unconditionally.
