There are a few meanings of the word “pilot.”  The person who flies the airplane is a pilot. There is a marine pilot that guides the way for ships navigating into port.  Then there is the first, test program for TV or social programs, etc.  A lot of meanings and they all pertain to how we can see God.  God is the one who is at the controls of our lives if we relinquish control.  God know the way in life and can get us there safely and on good time.  God can fly around some of the storms of life and will get us through those we encounter.   God is the One who takes us through the treacherous shoals of life, around unseen rocks and shallows so that we safely make it to port.  God is the one who starts “pilot” programs in our lives and directs us through the changes so that our lives, lie a good “pilot” can become a long running success.  Have you seen the bumper sticker that reads, “God is my co-pilot?”  Do not make God your co-pilot.  Give God the controls make God your pilot and you will arrive safely at your final destination and on time!  Make God your pilot and all the changes that come in life can be navigated and made into successes.  God God control.  Read Isaiah 55:8-11 and John 16:33 and remember: God loves YOU unconditionally.
