I love the phrase, “Expect a miracle!” It does not give a timeline or about what the miracle will occur only to expect one. For me, it is true that God does miracles everyday and we need to expect them all the time. This week two members of the congregation hard pacemakers installed. Not too many years ago there was no such thing and people just felt rotten because of irregular heartbeat… or they died. This week two people I know have had a miracle. Each week at different times many of us go to lunch of dinner with others and we get to drive there in fact today I am going to Bradenton 130 miles away and will be back tomorrow. The miracle of convenient travel seen and experienced every day. Each minute I take 17-22 breaths. The body I inhabit may be getting older but it ha taken those breaths without fail for 67 plus years. That is a miracle. And maybe the greatest miracle is that in the past week over 300 people have come to the building we call “church” to worship and focus on God who sent Jesus to die for us. All of which is miracle. Think about it: more than one billion people each week gather to worship Jesus as the Savior of the world. We are of different languages and cultures and living styles but we all exercise our faith in worship each week. Now getting over one billion people to agree on anything is an absolute miracle. Faith in Christ is a true miracle! Today live large in Jesus and expect a miracle! Read Psalm 77:14 and Luke 9:6 and remember: God loves YOU unconditionally.
