Today is a Good Day.  I have not checked the temperature but I have taken the dog outside and it is cold.  I was nice and warm when I stepped outside and cold very quickly.  It is not a good day because of the weather.  It is early and I like the early part of the day but it is not a good day because of the time.  I am reasonably healthy.  Oh, I have my aches and pains but an accumulation of years does that.  It is not a good day because of my health.  Today we add a number of people to the role at JOY and that is good, but it is not a good day simply because of new disciples.  It is a good day because it is a day to worship God with my sisters and brothers in the family of God.  For all of this day, there are people somewhere who gather to worship and praise God who made us, and preserves us all.  It is a Good Day because today I remember that God, in infinite wisdom and wondrous grace takes care of me and shows me love.  It is a Good Day because today I know I am loved.  The truth is that each day can be a Good Day in the hand of God.  Take a moment today and worship, and praise God who loved you first and shows that love in the life data and resurrection of Jesus.  When someone loves you so much as to die for you, it is a really Good Day. Remember God’s love in Jesus Christ and have a Really Good Day.   Read Romans 5:1-11 and remember: God loves YOU unconditionally.
