Today most of you will meet our interim pastor for the first time; some had the pleasure of meeting him at the ministry social yesterday afternoon.  We have gone three weeks without a pastor leading us, although we’ve been blessed with the service and messages from Pastors Ron Will and Wayne Kofink.  Thank you.

I’m happy to say that many in this church have stepped up where there was a need and acted as Christ to one another.  It’s a joy to be a part of this loving congregation.  Still, I know, for many it’s a relief to have a pastor present and available.  It’s nice to know someone is there whom you can turn to when there is a need.  Of course, we can always turn to God, but although God is there with us in the hospital room and at every turn, we sometimes want someone we can see and hear more clearly by our side, especially in those uncertain moments of life.

Today we welcome Pastor Roy to our community.  May we practice genuine hospitality and continue to share Christ’s love with each other.  Read Romans 12, and remember: God loves YOU unconditionally!
