On my way into town, for about a year now, I drive by a man on the side of the road.  This man is dedicated, nearly always there, no matter how hot or cold the weather may be and at numerous times throughout the day.  He holds a sign and raises it high for passersby to see in one hand, and in the other he waves a Bible.  On one side of his sign it says, “Repent!”  When he turns it around it says, “Jesus loves you!”  I do not know what compels him to stand on the side of the road each day holding that sign up, and I’ve often wondered about his story.  I ask myself if I have this same dedication he has.  His message is a simple message, and yet it is profound.  Repent.  Turn toward God.  And, personally, I can never have too many reminders that Jesus loves me.  Read John 3:16-17 and remember: God loves YOU unconditionally!
