As we prepare for the death and resurrection of our Lord, let’s prepare for the decision we need to make in our personal life.  Read Joshua 24.  Here Joshua gives us a history lesson on the faithfulness of God. How he fulfilled his promise to Abraham, guided Moses and the Israelite through the years of exile.  Now Joshua reminds God’s people that he has provided a city and provisions that they did not work for.  Joshua implores the people to forgo the idols and worship God.   In verse 15, Joshua says, ” As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!”

This holy week, let us make this our prayer, that we will serve the Lord.  Praise God for what he has done for us.  Remember,  God loves you unconditionally!
