Today’s post is a re-posting from Pastor Ed’s blog from Easter 2015, one year ago:

All over the world, billions of people are celebrating Easter today.  Some with dinner out.  Some with a day at a church.  Each one is looking for something this morning.  Many are worshiping who may not have been in a church for a while, and yet something draws them to worship on the most sacred day of the Church calendar.  Why is that?  I think it is because we know that we are not perfect and have an innate need for our maker.  Jesus reconciles us to the Creator and today is the culmination of his whole life.  And, He did it for YOU.  Today as we worship, may we remember that Jesus died and today proved his power over sin, death and the devil…. all for you!  Today (and every day) He is risen…. He is risen indeed!!!  Read John 20:1-18, and remember: God loves YOU unconditionally!
