The weather is warming up (at least here in Florida!), the spring rains are here, the grass is green and growing fast.  Days are getting longer, birds are singing songs of praise, and tomcats are on the prowl.  Driving the roads into Ocala one sees calves and foals everywhere, and beautiful flowers line the roadside.  Grandparents in our congregation also celebrate the birth of their grandchildren (congratulations Joey and Susan!).

It seems appropriate that Easter, too, is in the spring.  We celebrate life and resurrection as we see the miracle of new life unfolding all around us.  We look at this life and beauty, and cannot help but praise our Creator and see that this is God’s will: life, beauty, and all things good.  As we continue to celebrate Easter, let the miracles of life fill us with wonder.
