Many of you know that I went to a Via de Cristo retreat last weekend.  I experienced God’s love in the acts and words of people, and the personalized message that God is for me and that Christ came and died to save me was reinforced.  It is a message that seems too good to be true, and yet, it’s a message I continually receive and will probably need to be reminded of again and again.  Perhaps one day I will be able to fully grasp God’s love but, for now, experiences like I had at Via de Cristo help bring me a little closer.
