I recently asked a friend what he believes regarding God and Scripture. I’d like to share his response with you:

God’s Word is relevant for us today. … GRACE is the overarching, overwhelming, all encompassing truth of God. If we all loved as God has shown love to us through Jesus, what a wonderful world this would be. In the midst of all the conflicting messages we hear in the world today, there is still one central message that many, maybe most of the people of God, do not quite understand: grace. The Bible was written by people, inspired by God, to show that unfailing love to us. Even the writers may not have understood what God’s love meant for them or for others in the future. I do not understand, but I know God loves you and me before we love, before we know, before we care… before everything. God’s love, shown to others, changes lives. 

Read John 1:14-18, and remember: God loves YOU unconditionally!
