My wife recently completed a course of treatment at a local clinic. On her last day, the staff presented her with a “We care kit.” This kit consisted of the following items:

An eraser- So you can make all your problems disappear. 

A rubber band- To stretch yourself beyond your limits.

A string- To tie things together when everything falls apart.

A hug and a kiss- To remind you that someone loves you.

Gum- Stick with it and you can accomplish anything.

A pencil- To list all your blessings. 

I love the sentiment of this kit, but something is missing. We need to add the love and faithfulness of God. When we do that, all these pieces fit together! In John 14:1, Jesus tells us “let not your hearts be troubled.” We all need to trust in Jesus. Read John 14, and remember God loves you unconditionally!
