A woman falls down the stairs and cannot get up. She hollers out for help, but no one is there to hear her. She doesn’t know how long she’ll have to wait.
A 78 year old man sits in a chair and tells the story of his 54 year-long marriage. His wife passed away only a week ago.
A 96 year old woman lays on the hospice bed, taking her last breath. She has no friends or family in the room with her.
But there is One who never leaves their side. There is one who sees each page of their life and holds them in the darkest moments and sings over them with joy at other times (Zeph 3:17). There is One who loves them each with unfailing love (Jer. 31:3) and who will never abandon them (Heb 13:5). Not one is alone. Each one is loved. We are all God’s beloved.
