Thank You

September marks the start-up of many ministries at JOY.  Snow birds return, attendance in worship increases and JOY resumes two Sunday morning services; study groups and tables of 8 reconvene, ministry teams meet again, registration for JOY sports begins, and our choir resumes practicing.  A lot of people participate in the many ministries at JOY.  I thank God for the numerous joyful workers and givers.  Without the dedication, time, work and resources given by many, the ministries we do would not be possible.  Thank you!

This year there’s a new ministry team putting a lot of time and thought into helping share God’s Word and promises, comprised of six writers who diligently and freely give their time and talent, even on difficult weeks or when maybe they’re the ones who need to hear God’s promise of love and grace.  Yes, I’m talking about our blog writers.

Your commitment has made a difference in many lives, including my own. Thank you, writers, for letting the Holy Spirit work through you and for sharing God’s Word and your experiences!  Thank you, Pastor Ed, for beginning this ministry and for faithfully sharing God’s Word and promises with us in so many ways, including JOY’s devotional blog.  Thank you, readers, for continuing with us on our journey of faith, reading our blogs and responding with encouragement.  Read I Thessalonians 1:2-5, and remember: God loves YOU unconditionally!!
