Did you Look at the Moon?

Tuesday, the moon looked as large as it has since January 1948.  If you were able to see it through the clouds while it was still near the horizon it appeared especially large.  Even if you weren’t able to see its size through the clouds, you might have noticed the brightness of the moon shining through.  It was so bright that once the clouds parted, I actually checked to make sure my outside house lights were off.  It was just the moonlight.  Standing there and looking up at the moon, I couldn’t help but notice it was reflecting the sun’s light particularly well.  That made me think of people who reflect the Son’s light.  Perhaps we need only get a bit closer to the Source in order to shine a bit brighter, reflecting God’s glory.  Read Matthew 5:13-16, and remember: God loves YOU unconditionally!
