Walk in Love

As we prepare for the upcoming Christmas season through Advent, let us remember what Paul has said to us in his letter to the Ephesians “thererefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” (Ephesians 5:1 and 2). In the coming weeks, let us all strive to prepare for God’s presentation of his greatest gift: Jesus. Let’s all strive to be imitators of God. When we see people who are in need, let’s give them a hand.   We at Joy have made a great start with the gift of warm clothing for those who need them. I was reminded of that generosity when I walked by the nursery and saw it overflowing with donated clothes. Let us seek other opportunities to help in this season of Advent. As we prepare for Christmas, let’s celebrate Advent with love and charity in our hearts. Read ephesians 5, and remember: God loves you unconditionally !
