My wife, Gwenn, and I enjoy watching Christmas and Christmas related movies during the days before Christmas. Two questions often are asked: what was your best Christmas ever, and of course, what was your worst. The worst always seems to revolve around some tragic event happening or someone letting them down. I am thankful that most of the happy Christmas’, revolved around finding what the true meaning of Christmas is. Christ came down to us in love, we need to share this love and show this love to others. Read Romans 13:8-14. Paul talks about loving our neighbors.
I don’t often pay attention to commercials, but one caught my eye. A young boy leaves a card on a elderly neighbors step, inviting her to Christmas dinner, apparently without informing his mother.. When she comes to the door with the card, the mother welcomes her and gives her son a loving look of admiration. This is truly a an example of showing the love of Christ at Christmas. Let’s all seek to love our neighbors! Remember: God loves you unconditionally!
