Three S’s…think in threes…make connections in the tender, fragile neurons in my jumbled brain…”re-arrange the mental furniture” (thank you, LTSS!)

All of these come together in a steady stream that loves to dance among the rocks. That would be the rocks in my head…

At my new congregation of Joy, blessings abound! Stephen Ministry is a precious gift to our members. They talk about the stewardship of relationships. Stewardship talks about member care. Then, there’s the scrip box, which I am “encouraged” to return to the office at the conclusion of Sunday’s worship. Gift cards for a buffet of options, for which a portion of the proceeds comes back to our church; presumably for Pastor’s Discretionary Fund.

So yes, I give thanks for the acronyms, memory devices, and the intricate, fluctuating web of thoughts, ideas and passions. All of these cordially brought to me by the Holy Spirit, via the wonderful saints of Joy.
