Time for Prayer

We have just begun a new year. With it comes opportunity for new things. It is like we have been given a clean sheet of paper for new thoughts and plans. One of the things I would wish for in this new year is that we would pray for others more. 1 Timothy 2 1-5 says, “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus., our savior.” Let’s pray for our new pastor, our new president and all the new opportunities this year is going to present us with. God has great things in store for us, let us undertake them in prayer. Remember: God loves you unconditionally!
