Have you ever asked the question, “why me, lord”? When things are not going the way I think they should, I ask that question. It is very easy to ask the why instead of “what are you trying to teach me?” James 1:2 – 3 says, “2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” I have found that if I stop and pray, I am more open to any lesson God has for me. Praising God for all things, good or bad, allows me to be an open vessel for his blessings. Let’s just see what happens if we count it all joy for our trials! Remember: God loves you unconditionally!
