By now you may have noticed that I capitalize all the letters in JOY when referring to our congregation. Capitalizing JOY reminds me that it is an acronym. The acronym we use in our congregation is: Jesus, Others, You. This reminds us that we need to put Jesus first– before all other things in our life. Next, we are reminded to love others. Finally, we are reminded to take care of ourselves. This sounds like a recipe for finding joy! It also sounds a lot like Jesus’ command to love God and love others.
Read Matthew 22:36-40, and remember: God loves YOU unconditionally!
