Have you ever noticed how a smile is readily returned? I have been asked many times why I am generally cheerful. My quick response is usually, why not? I like to start each day counting my blessings and then thanking God. When I think of the way God has watched over me in my life, I can’t help but smile and say God is good. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 13:8 -13 that love never ends and in verse 13 that faith, hope and love abide, but the greatest of these is love. It is this love that God has shown me that makes me want to radiate that love to others. When I was in high school preparing for my studies at the Lutheran Bible Institute of California a lady I didn’t know, stopped me after church. She said that she was impressed with my cheerful attitude and she could see the love of Christ in me so she wanted to give me a brand new bible for studies at school. This thoughtful act of kindness by a stranger, reinforced my belief that happiness in the Lord is truly contagious! Read I Corinthians 13:8-13, and remember: God loves you unconditionally!
