Now that we have entered this week we have come to call “holy week”, I have been reflecting on the many places and ways I have celebrated Easter. One that stands out was when I was in my first year at California Lutheran Bible Institute. A group of us got up at 3:30 in the morning on Easter Sunday and went out to get good seat for the sunrise service held at the Hollywood Bowl in Hollywood , California. The effect of watching the pageantry unfold as the sun began to rise behind the mountains was moving and reminds me of the Love that God has for us to allow his Son to die for us, but also to conquer death for us all. Let’s all make this a time to reflect and to rejoice on what God has done for us this easter season. Read Luke 23 and 24, and: r=emember: God loves you unconditionally!
