Lately it seems that the news is always filled with violence and story’s of horrible acts of terror and destruction. I was reading Psalm 1, verses 1 and 2 are: “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.” The way to counteract the evils of the world is to start by leading lives that reflect the love of Jesus to all we meet. We then need to tell this to others who will then tell others. We need to be the evangelists Jesus has called us to be. By living lives where both our actions and our words reflect love, we can help to change things. Remember: God loves you unconditionally!
