Recently, I heard a meteorologist give a familiar weather report: “partly cloudy with a chance of rain.”  Hearing those words, I thought: that’s life: partly sunny, partly cloudy and with a chance of rain at any given moment.  Maybe at this moment things are going well and life seems bright and sunny, or maybe dark clouds loom overhead and it’s stormy and raining hard!  Whatever your circumstances, they will change– like the weather.  When we realize this, we can enjoy and appreciate the sunny (and even “partly cloudy”) moments even more, remembering the stormy moments we came through and will likely face again.  We can also endure the storms knowing they will not last and the sun will shine on us again.  Read Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, and remember: God loves YOU unconditionally!
