The Lord Works in Mysterious Ways
As I shook hands with Pastor Art after church on Sunday he said to me, “Would you consider being one of our blog-writers?” I gasped in shock. Not me! I’m the one who looks forward to opening the daily Joyblog in the early morning comfort of my den with a cup of steaming coffee in hand. I’m the one who is in awe of the members of Joy Lutheran Church who share their amazing knowledge of the Bible and their faith. I’m the one who has felt that I’ve bonded with the writers because of the experiences and innermost thoughts they’ve been willing to describe. I’m the one who needs the morning reminder that members of Joy are with me in my faith journey.
I couldn’t . . .
(Could I?)
Well maybe . . .
(Not me!)
I don’t know . . .
(I’ll pray.)
Here I am, Lord.
The Lord works in mysterious ways.
“O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.” Psalm 34:3
