I’m Hungry

We abandoned I-75 when it became a “parking lot.” No sense in following the GPS instructions when our destination was just a day trip exploration that would lead us to lunch. We zigged and zagged along beautiful country roads, but it became farther and farther between towns and we were starved!

A sign on the road advertised “Soul Food” ahead.

Not exactly what we had in mind, but by this time, with empty stomachs, anything sounded good! Taking the bend in the road, we saw it;
“Soul Food Served Here” was a sign in front of a little white country church.
Time for a deep breath . . .

Had the Holy Spirit worked up our appetite? Were we starved for His inspiration? Hadn’t we appreciated that God was all around us, feeding our souls? Even our growling stomachs were a message from our Heavenly Father.

“For He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.” – Psalm 107:9
Thank you, Jesus, for making me hunger for your Word.

Always remember, the Lord loves YOU unconditionally.
