By the Grace of God

Once a week, I was excited to be zipped into the little dance costume that my Aunt Betty lovingly sewed for me. My mother was taking me to Esther Moody’s Dance Studio! It was this little girl’s version of heaven.

Although I barely mastered “shuffle-ball-chain,” in my mind, I was destined for a career on the stage.

Graceful?
Not so much . . .

Grace – full?
You bet . . .

You see, early on I was taught that “Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so.”
It’s what you call a life lesson.

“For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is the gift of God.” – Ephesians 2:8-9

“And from his fullness we have received, grace upon grace.” John 1:16

I know I’ll be dancing in heaven.

He loves us unconditionally.
