We’ve all experienced it, if we‘ve lived long enough, that person who seems to know all. The one who sees everything clearly, and always seems to be just where they are needed. How frustrated we are by that, knowing our own limitations. How do they do it?
Eventually we find out that that person is far from infallible. Maybe he was just blessed with more confidence and less fear of failure than the rest of us. We soon realize that he can’t accomplish everything on his own; he needs help just like the rest of us.
When I was young our church leaders taught us that God was the only one who was all powerful – omnipotent, possessed all knowledge – omniscient, and was everywhere at once – omnipresent. Knowing this we can feel secure that no matter what happens, God who created our vast universe with all its wonders, is in control. He has the perfect plan for each one of us. And, unlike our earthly leaders, He will never fail us.
There are countless examples of this in scripture: God saved Job from His calamities, He delivered Joseph from bondage, He delivered Israel from slavery, and He delivered Paul and the Apostles from persecutions and prison. God accomplished His purpose of redeeming His creation through the sacrifice of His Son.
Remember, this omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent God Loves YOU unconditionally!
