Our Father

My son is teaching his baby son to say “Daddy.”

“Da da da da . . . Dad . . . Daddy!”   What music to a father’s ears!

I confess that is seems like only yesterday that my own son was learning.

I confess that, even today, I sometimes struggle with learning to say the words . . .

Heavenly Father.
God Almighty.
Abba Father.

I think I can do things on my own.
I’m reluctant to open my heart to say the words.
I hesitate to fold my hands in prayer to ask for guidance.

“Our Father, who art in heaven.”

Yet, HE has taught me
It’s music to HIS ears.

“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” – Acts 2:21

Thank you for loving me unconditionally.
