Pun Intended

I remember the ritual of slathering my body with Johnson’s Baby Oil and baking in the sun with the goal of getting a golden tan. A timer was set, reminding me to flip over to make sure that the result was an even glow. Often, my outcome was a painful burn followed by a peel. So much for a sun tan.

As I’ve matured (cough, aged), I’ve adjusted my attitude. My goal these days is a “SON” Tan.

I want to bask in the glory of HIS love.

I want to feel the warmth of HIS smile on every part of my body, every part of my life.

I want HIS rays to deepen my commitment, my belief.

I want every pore of my skin to glow with HIS promises.

I want others to know that I have a “SON” Tan.

I highly recommend it.

“Let your light so shine before man, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16

He loves us unconditionally.
