Have you ever been in a restaurant trying to have a nice meal and conversation with your significant other, when all of a sudden some noisy children arrive? Without any respect for others, including their own parents, they just do whatever they want until the parents either remove them or they get thrown out. Yes, their behavior is annoying!

Well, being a Christian, I draw a parallel with God our Father looking down at all His children. Every minute of every day He sees disrespect, sin, rebellion and open defiance of His authority. Such annoying behavior! How could God possibly overlook all this sin?

In His Word God explains that He loves us unconditionally. He sent Jesus His beloved Son to be a substitute sacrifice, to pay the penalty for His children’s rebellion. What a patient and loving Father God we have. When our Father in Heaven looks down on His children, He overlooks all our sin, if we just accept His forgiveness and grace. AMEN! Maranatha!
