In 1 Chronicles 16:8,
“Give Praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.”

This is David’s message, speaking in the Bible.

It’s also Martin Luther, speaking in Germany.

This is my grandparents, speaking in their newly adopted country, America.

This is my congregation, affirming their faith on Sunday mornings.

This is the message that I must carry on, throughout my days on earth.

What an honor. What a privilege.
What a blessing to know how my life will fit into the annals of history, proclaiming HIS name to the next generation.

This is me. This is you. Making known among the nations what he has done!

HE loves us unconditionally.
