Tick tock . . . Tick tock. . .
Remember when you wound your wristwatch each morning before you put it on your wrist?
Remember when you cranked your alarm clock every night before you went to bed so the bell would ring to wake you up in the morning?
Remember when you would tear a page off of your daily calendar to keep track of the days?
Now the L.E.D. display on my computer, on my car, on my TV, on my microwave all automatically announce the date and time.
Yet I rarely know what day of the week it is . . .
Too often, I take for granted that my Heavenly Father has gifted me with another minute, another hour, another day, another year . . .
In my automated, computerized world, I forget to give Him thanks and praise and glory.
Tick tock . . . Tick tock . . .
Time to wake up.
“And do this, understanding the present time. The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over. The day is almost here.” – Romans 13:11-12
Remember, He loves us unconditionally.
