Remember Eve in the Garden of Eden?
Of course you do!
Remember what got her into trouble?
A big red, juicy apple!
“There were many trees in the garden. God said Adam and Eve could eat fruit from all the trees but one.” – Genesis 2:16
It’s beautiful fall-time in Wisconsin . . . and that means it’s Apple Season! At this time of the year, God graces us with bushel baskets full of MacIntosh, Delicious, Granny Smiths . . .
All to be enjoyed with the crunch of a big juicy bite or the cinnamon-sweet aroma of a freshly baked apple pie.
Sweet Jesus!
Even in the bliss of my salivation,
I’m reminded of my salvation.
God has forgiven us completely for the sins of mankind.
He continues to give us fruit to feed our stomachs and our souls.
He reminds me that he watches out for me and takes care of me.
Even an apple reminds me that I am forgiven. . . and then some.
I know He loves me and He loves you, unconditionally.
Patti
Thank you for reminding us!
