Old Age

In celebration of growing old!

Yes, you read that right . . .
I’m happy for every wrinkle in my brow, every brown spot on my face, every silver hair on my head.
They represent one more opportunity to praise the Lord for the beauty of mornings,
To realize that what I thought were insurmountable problems have become blessings,
To teach my children to love,
To spend time in my Bible preparing myself to meet my Creator,
To become more intimate in my prayer conversations with God.

Maybe God thinks I am a slow learner . . . that he has blessed me with so many days on earth.
He is helping me to “grow” old.

“Wisdom is with aged men, with long life is understanding.” – Job 12:12

For I know, He loves me and He loves you, unconditionally.
