What a wonderful feeling when you “catch someone’s eye.”

You’ve arranged to be picked up at the airport. You scan the thick, hurried crowd. You recognize a face and you wave.

You’ve traveled far away. You look up and suddenly there’s someone you recognize from home. You smile and hug.

The moment, etched in your mind, when you meet eyes with “the one. You realize you are in love. Your breath catches.

A moment, coming out of nowhere, when you feel the warmth of God’s love and protection, catching you unaware. Reminding you that . . .

“The Lord turns His face toward you and gives you His peace.” Numbers 6:26

“The eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who hope for His lovingkindness.” Psalm 33:18
