What is it about seeing a little baby that brings out the smiles in all of us?
Suddenly it’s “goo-goo, gah, gah” or “cootshie, cootshie, coo” while we’re reaching to tweak his cheeks or trying to steal a little hug.
Is that why God knew we would relate so easily to the Baby Jesus?
And if that’s the case, what’s the big deal about praying and saying the “right thing?”
Doesn’t a baby just sense our love and affection no matter what gibberish we say?
Doesn’t Jesus appreciate our thought prayers and our whispers of adoration and thank you from the heart?
Get over the fear of praying the “right words. . .”
Just start talking, and loving, and thanking and adoring this amazing Christ child.
“And a little child shall lead them” – Isaiah 11:6
