Cross-eyed

I seem to be getting cross-eyed . . .

Let me explain the symptoms.

I peer out my window to a world that is just being lit by the early morning sun. The intersections of the windowpanes remind me that HE has created this morning and all my mornings.

I walk across cool tiles, neatly grouted into a myriad of crosses, reminding me that HE will show me the way.

I wait at the corner for a car to pass, my mother’s admonishment to “look both ways before you enter the yellow crosswalk” in my ears, and I realize that HE protects me from harm.

I slow my car at a stoplight. The cross of the roadways reminds me that HE shows me the intersection of faith and life.

I hope that this malady is incurable.

It reminds me that Jesus loves me Unconditionally.

What a lovely blog. It reminds me to open my eyes a bit wider and my mouth to praise more often. Thank you.
