Password Please

(If you spend as much time at your computer as I do, you may sympathize. To those of you who stay away from the world of computers, my apologies. You may want to skip this one.)

User names and passwords drive me crazy!

“Your user name and password are not recognized by this site.”
“You have made too many attempts to open this site. Access is now blocked for 24 hours.”
“Your password must contain upper case, lower case, numerals and symbols.”

I read about the ease with which our computers can be hacked into. Sometimes it seems that the only one who cannot get into my computer is me!

Deep breath now, here’s the good news.

Our dear Lord Jesus does not require any password for our entrance into heaven.

No password is necessary for our prayers to be heard.

We don’t have to create a “user name”

We have a name. We were given our name at birth.

And, the Almighty God knows our name!

“Fear not, I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name, you are mine.” Isaiah 43:1

The gates of heaven open to us, our Lord in His unconditional love welcomes us, no password needed!

Praise God for His goodness!
