Tears

I cry very easily.

I’ve learned to blink back the tears and control my quivering lips and take a deep breath but those that know me well can see the signs.

It doesn’t take very much to get me started . . .

Sometimes it’s just a heartfelt hug from a friend.

Sometimes it’s an “I love you, Mom” from my babies who are now men.

Sometimes it’s the words in a song on the radio or a familiar hymn in church.

Sometimes it’s just a sunset.

Sometimes . . .
No, every day . . .

It’s gratitude for the blessings that God has given me.

I’m so happy I could cry.

“Tears are prayers, too. They travel to God when we can’t speak.” – Psalm 56:8

Me, too! I’ve always known that I’m not alone in handling this “condition”.
