My Bible is showing some wear. . .
The cover is fading.
The spine is not quite so rigid.
Some of the pages are dog-eared.
But the words are still the same. The message is clear. God’s voice speaks just as loudly.

My body is showing some wear. . .
My hair is graying.
My skin is wrinkling.
My posture is sagging.
But the spirit is strong.

Some days, God’s voice resonates within.
“You are mine,” HE announces.
And this old body becomes new in faith, once again.

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.” – 2 Corinthians 4:16
