“What do you want to be when you’re grown up?”

Haven’t you asked that question and been asked that question your whole life?
My answers have changed throughout the years:
A teacher
Married
A mother
A grandmother
Retired
I’ve been so blessed that my dreams have come true.

But I’m not done yet . . .
When I die,
Or when I pass,
Or when I leave this earthly body,
Christ’s promise made at my baptism will be fulfilled.
I will live with HIM in heaven.
I will finally be “Grown Up.”

“If someone dies, will they live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait for my renewal to come. You will call and I will answer you. You will long for the creature your hands have made.” – Job 14:14-16
