Yellow Cars

I just read a Facebook post that I’ll credit for today’s inspiration:

“It’s easy to spot a yellow car when you are always thinking of a yellow car.
It’s easy to spot an opportunity when you are always thinking of an opportunity.
It’s easy to spot reasons to be mad when you are always thinking of being mad.
You become what you constantly think about. Watch yourself.”

Several years ago, I began writing in a Gratitude Journal at the beginning of each day. It was difficult for me at first. I was concerned that I would run out of things to say, that I would be writing the same thing day after day.

It’s become a habit. I wake up thinking of what I am grateful for . . .

It’s easy to spot blessings when you are always thinking of blessings.
I haven’t run out of things to write yet . . .
