Pay at the First Window and Drive Ahead to the Second Window for Your Order Pickup

Are you old enough to remember a time when fast food restaurants did not exist? I am. How convenient they are for multitudes of folks, whether for their morning brew or a late-night snack. You don’t even have to get out of the car, so I guess you could make the run in your jammies.

Do you ever pray hoping for a “pull ahead for your answer” response to happen? I do. I have prayed desperate prayers in my life and stand on ready for the answer to “pop” in front of me.

With age and hopefully some wisdom, I know that God is not usually what we should call “fast food convenient.” He is all powerful, omnipotent, and a spiritual mega-power in wisdom. How lucky are we to know the source? Our God loves us unconditionally and hears our prayers and then ANSWERS. Awesome!

When I am connected in prayer, I prefer not to repeat myself daily. God knows my heart before I even enter into prayer mode. He hears my prayer; of that I am certain. I John 5:15 “And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.”

When my prayer is complete, any ongoing prayers for that concern are prayers of thanksgiving that my prayer was heard and that an answer will ensue…. not fast food, pull ahead method, but in His time.

A broken family relationship weighed heavy on my heart and had me stymied for a solution. Learning that I don’t have to plan and organize and create results, my first step was prayer. Nine years later my answer arrived. Not fast food, but God’s time. He is an awesome God and His timing is perfect. How did he touch the heart of the person in question? How did the reconciliation even happen? Those answers are not at window 1 or 2, they come directly from our source, in His time.

Hallelujah, I am loved unconditionally!
