I looked to the horizon;
the sea was mighty and deep.

I listened to the roar;
the churning breakers never ceased.

I stood in the shallows;
the waves broke and pulled fiercely back out to the sea.

In that moment standing at the shore, I realized the vastness and power of the sea.

It is no wonder that the Psalmist used the sea to illustrate the power of our almighty God.

“More than the sounds of many waters, more than the mighty breakers of the sea, the Lord on high is mighty.” Psalm 93

Our Lord is mightier than the sea, all-powerful, without beginning or end. His greatness is beyond our human understanding. His love for you is deeper than the oceans and His presence is everywhere.

His hand had the power to create the seas! Rest assured His hand has the power to guide you and get you through the trials of life. He created YOU. He loves you. He loves you unconditionally.
